Order Fulfillment
Orders are prepared and fulfilled according to the product type, selected checkout option, preparation requirements, store availability, and the delivery or pickup time selected by the customer.
- Customers select available shipping, delivery, or pickup options during checkout.
- Bakery and custom products may require additional preparation time.
- Order availability may vary based on product type, order volume, and selected date or time window.
Shipping, Delivery & Pickup Options
Available fulfillment options are shown at checkout. Depending on the product and customer location, we may offer local delivery, store pickup, or shipping for eligible non-perishable items.
- Local Delivery: Available for eligible orders within supported delivery areas.
- Store Pickup: Customers may pick up eligible orders from our store at the selected time.
- Shipping: Available only for eligible non-perishable items such as decorations, gifts, and selected packaged items.
Delivery & Pickup Time
Delivery and pickup times are based on the option selected by the customer at checkout. We prepare and fulfill orders according to the selected date and time whenever possible.
- Customers must choose from the available time options shown at checkout.
- Same-day or scheduled availability may vary depending on product type and store capacity.
- Delivery and pickup times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, courier delays, holidays, high order volume, or circumstances outside our control.
Shipping Fees
Shipping, delivery, and service fees are calculated and displayed during checkout before the order is placed. Fees may vary depending on the selected fulfillment method, delivery address, order size, product type, and available shipping or delivery options.

- Customers are responsible for reviewing shipping or delivery fees before placing an order.

Perishable Bakery Products
Cakes, pastries, desserts, cookies, and other fresh bakery items are perishable and may be limited to local delivery or store pickup only. These items may not be eligible for standard carrier shipping.
- Perishable products must be accepted or picked up at the selected time whenever possible.
- Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, or missed pickup times.
Decorations, Gifts & Non-Perishable Items
Decorations, gifts, and eligible non-perishable items may be shipped when shipping is available at checkout. Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times will be displayed before the order is placed.
- Shipping availability may vary by product and destination.
- Carrier delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- We are not responsible for carrier delays after the order has been handed to the shipping provider.
Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues
Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping, delivery, billing, and contact information at checkout. NY Bakery and Desserts is not responsible for failed delivery or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.
- Please review your address, apartment number, phone number, and email before placing an order.
- Additional delivery or shipping fees may apply if a new delivery attempt is required.
- If an order cannot be delivered due to customer error, the order may not be eligible for refund.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or significantly delayed due to an issue within our control, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.
- Provide your order number and a description of the issue.
- Photos may be required for damaged or incorrect items.
- If the issue is confirmed to be our error, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Changes or cancellations may be accepted only before preparation, production, packing, or fulfillment begins. Once an order is being prepared, customized, packed, shipped, or scheduled for delivery, it may no longer be eligible for changes, cancellation, or refund.
